New Release Temecula Valley Sauvignon Blanc, Two Clone Cuvee. With citrus notes, a bit of gooseberry,  subtle herbal notes, and just a hint of French oak,  this alluring dry white wine was produced from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in the Hart Family Vineyard and Temecula Valley's Huis Vineyard, predominately Musque clone blended with a smaller proportion of a traditional California clone. We really love Sauvignon Blanc - our hands-down favorite white - and have been producing it since 1981;  Serve with grilled fish, oysters on the half-shell, steamed mussels, clams, or garlic chicken. 13.0 ALC.

The fine wine grape of Italy's Tuscany, the primary grape of the Chianti blends and the only grape allowed in Brunello di Montalcino, we have produced a medium-bodied, spicy wine with attractive cherry fruit character. The classic accompaniment to Tuscan cuisine, to red-sauce pasta or to any dish that requires a dry, medium-bodied, flavorful red wine, this is one of the very best Sangiovese wines we have produced. 13.3% alcohol.

2010 Zinfandel

Temecula Valley, Huis Vineyard, Deaver Vineyard clone

Produced from a traditional head-trained vineyard on rootstock grafted to budwood from Amador County's historic Deaver Vineyard, this fruity, classic Zin is enhanced by 12 months aging in premium American oak barrels. This deliciously complex wine, made in a lower-alcohol, non-jammy, food-friendly style, is illustrative of the quality attainable from a well-farmed young vineyard 14.7% alcohol.

2008 Driveway Red

Temecula Valley, Hart Family Vineyard

This whimsically named wine was produced from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc vines along our winery driveway and from a tiny block of vines immediately above our parking lot. In classic field-blend style, the grapes were all harvested the same day, bin-fermented together, and then finished in Hungarian oak barrels, producing a delightful, medium-bodied, Bordeaux-style blend. 13.9% alcohol.

2007 Merlot

Produced from 1 1/2 acres of traditional, cane-pruned vines on a steep hillside behind our winery, this fulsome, delectable Merlot, after a classic, temperature-controlled tank fermentation, was aged in Hungarian oak barrels. The wine, with its cherry and softly herbal notes enhanced by flavors of oak, is a classic accompaniment to beef, lamb, or vegetarian soups or stews. 13.9% alcohol.

2007 Cabernet Franc

One of our most popular and best-selling red wines and a frequent award winner; produced from a 2.3 acre block in our family vineyard. The majority of the block is trained to a modern, VSP trellis system, while a smaller, older section is on a traditional, bilateral cordon, California sprawl trellis system.This delicious wine has an elegant nose of plum, herbs, and just a touch of green olive, and is smooth, balanced, and full on the palate, with ample tannins. Aged 20 months in Eastern European oak. 14.4% alcohol.

Grown by long-time friends Phil and Marion Hansen in their small, lovingly farmed 5 acre mountain vineyard, 2400 feet above sea level in the coastal hills west of Temecula. Reflecting the passion and hard work the Hansens have put into this small family vineyard, this deeply full-bodied wine has enough tannin structure for long-term aging, and may be enjoyed now or laid away for future enjoyment. 13.7% alcohol.

We produced this dark, intense, full-bodied Cabernet from grapes grown in the unique Volcanic Ridge Vineyard at the Western edge of the Temecula Valley AVA. Sited on a 2400-foot ridge within sight of the Pacific Ocean and swept by cool sea breezes, its red volcanic soils are a marked contrast to the granitic soils of most of the Temecula Valley, growing grapes deep in color, rich in varietal character, producing wines structured for lengthy aging. Aged in fine Eastern European oak barrels.

Produced from the obscure and little-grown Aleatico grape, native to Italy's Puglia region, this exotic and deliciously sweet dessert wine is one of the few produced in California. Aleatico is a member of the Muscat family, and this wine exhibits the characteristic aromatics of all Muscats. Superb as an after-dinner dessert wine, served alone or as a dessert complement. We bottled 121 cases of this wonderfully unique wine. 18% ALC.
